The Philippine Postal Corporation
is a profitably operating corporation, professionally managed
and run by a corps of committed personnel providing the highest
quality and widest range of postal products and services that
adequately meet customers' needs in all areas of the country and
throughout the world. It values performance excellence, customer
care, company loyalty and genuine concern for employees'
welfare.

The Philippine Postal
Corporation (PhilPost) was created by virtue of Republic Act No.
7354, otherwise known as the Postal Service Act of 1992.
It was primarily established to undertake and implement an
intensive modernization and development program geared towards
improving the country's postal system to best serve that
country's postal needs.
Philpost is a government-owned corporation with headquarters in
Manila. Its policy-making body is the Board of Directors
composed of seven (7) members that include the Postmaster
General who, at the same time, serves as the Chief Executive
Officer of the corporation.

In pursuit of its mandate and
mission/vision statement, Philpost has set four (4) major goals
to enable it to sustain the postal requirements of the country
in the next millennium:

- Profit maximization through cost-effectiveness and resource efficiency

We have more than 2,000 Post Offices, Distribution Centers and
Mailing Outlets located all over the country. These are manned by 18,000
dedicated staff who are at all times ready to attend to your needs. Our
Transport and Delivery Fleet consists of more than 2,500 mail vans and
motorcycles.
