INVITATION TO BID

The PHILIPPINE POSTAL CORPORATION, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites all manufacturers, distributors, or suppliers to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : PROCUREMENT OF 100 UNITS OF COMPUTER SET AND 45 UNITS OF BARCODE SCANNER

Brief Description : COMPUTER SET:
* Processor – Dual Core (3.0 ghz) 2mb cache (minimum)
* Motherboard – ATX form, 2 x DIMMS Slot, 2 x PCI slot, 1 x PCLe slot, 4 x USB 2.0 ports 1 x gigabyte LAN, 4 x SATA port, 1 x VGA port
* Memory – 2 GB DDR3-1333
* Hardisk – 250 Gig SATA (minimum)
* Monitor – 15.6” LCD (minimum)
* With CD Drivers compatible for windows O.S.
* UPS: 650 VA w/ 3 x 220 volts grounded outlets, w/ 1 x 110 volts outlet
* 3 years on parts, labor and on-site service (Metro Manila only)

BARCODE SCANNER:
* USB Handheld Laser Type
* 3 years on parts, labor and on-site service (Metro Manila only)

Total ABC : P3,324,000.00

Location : Philippine Postal Corporation, Central Office, Main Building, Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last three (3) years with an amount of at least fifty percent (50%) of the proposed project for bidding, and have key personnel and equipment (owned, leased or under purchase) available for the prosecution of the project. The eligibility check/screening as well as the preliminary examination of bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail’ criterion. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to eligibility statement and screening, bid security, performance security, pre-bidding conference(s), evaluation of bids, post-qualification and award of contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R. A. No. 9184 and its IRR.

2. Pre-Bid Conference August 24, 2011 (Wed.) at 9:30 a.m.
3. Submission and receipt of the following:
a. technical proposal
b. financial proposal September 5, 2011 (Mon.) until 9:00 a.m. only
4. Opening of Bids September 5, 2011 (Mon.) at 9:30 a.m.
5. Bid Evaluation September 7, 2011
6. Post-qualification September 14, 2011

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by the prospective bidders upon payment of non-refundable amount of P6,000.00 to the Cash Management Division, 5th Floor, PPC Main Building, Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila.
