INVITATION TO BID

The PHILIPPINE POSTAL CORPORATION, through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites all reputable printers to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project: PROCUREMENT OF 400,000 SETS OF DEMS
CONSIGNMENT NOTE

Brief Description: 4-ply carbonless paper,
Size: 103 mm x 110 mm
One-color printing for each ply
with Barcode.

ABC: P1,000,000.00

Location: Philippine Postal Corporation, Central Office, Main Building, Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila

Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking a similar project within the last three (3) years with an amount of at least fifty percent (50%) of the proposed project for bidding, and have key personnel and equipment (owned, leased or under purchase) available for the prosecution of the project. The eligibility check/screening as well as the preliminary examination of bids shall use non-discretionary “pass/fail’ criterion. Post-qualification of the lowest calculated bid shall be conducted.

All particulars relative to eligibility statement and screening, bid security, performance security, pre-bidding conference(s), evaluation of bids, post-qualification and award of contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of R. A. No. 9184 and its IRR.

1. Issuance and availability of Bidding Documents – July 21, 2011 to
August 10, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. only.
2. Pre-Bid Conference – July 27, 2011 (Wed.) at 10:00 a.m.
3. Submission and receipt of the following:
a. technical proposal
b. financial proposal – August 10, 2011 (Wed.) until 9:00 a.m. only.
4. Opening of Bids – August 10, 2011 (Wed.) at 10:30 a.m.
5. Submission of additional requirements -Within three (3) calendar days from receipt of notice by the bidder of Lowest Calculated Bid.
6. Bid Evaluation -Within seven (7) calendar days after receipt of bids.
7. Post-qualification -Within thirty (30) calendar days after receipt of bids.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by the prospective bidders upon payment of non-refundable amount of P4,000.00 to the Cash Management Division, 5th Floor, PPC Main Building, Liwasang Bonifacio, Manila.
